The King's College men's soccer team defeated Pratt 4-0 to claim their fourth conference victory of the season and keep them in the hunt for a playoff spot.

The game started well for Kings with chances coming early on, but it wasn't until late in the first half that King's finally broke through thanks to a goal by Michel Wenzel.

Though King's had dominated play Pratt nearly leveled the game immediately, forcing sophomore defender Michael Terry to clear a ball off the line.

The teams broke for halftime with the game still close at 1-0.

Three quick goals in the second half finally put the tie to bed. Wenzel added his second before freshman Pedro Gallaga added a third.

The final goal of the game came as Daniel Fuenzalida was slipped through to calmly finish 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper in his first start of the season after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Coach Harman said after the game that "it was a good performance, we showed the type of soccer we like to play and were able to control the majority of the game. It was great to see us take our chances and put a game beyond doubt with time to spare."

The Lions are next in action Wednesday 10/11 as they travel to play the College of New Rochelle.
