Volleyball Ends Season With a Win and Advances to HVIAC Playoffs

After going winless in their 2016 season, The King's College Women's Volleyball team bounced back this year to finish 5-10 overall. The team ended their regular season on a winning note with a 3-0 victory against the Culinary Institute of America on Saturday 10/28. This win came after a 3-0 loss to the College of New Rochelle earlier in day as the three schools met for a tri-match.

In the victory against CIA senior Dekka Hunley led the way with a double-double of 14 kills and 11 digs. Freshman Hope Feller added 22 assists and junior Isabelle Sandmeyer had 8 kills and 11 digs.

The Lady Lions will return to practice this week as they prepare for the 2017 Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) Semi-Finals on Saturday November 4 at The College of New Rochelle. The match begins at 2pm.
