King's Cross Country Captures Fourth Place at HVIAC Championships

On Sunday October 29 The King's College Men's Cross Country Team traveled to the Hudson Valley Sports Dome in Milton, NY to compete in the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) Championships.

The conference championship meet would be the season finale for the team, and they did not disappoint. The team finished in fourth place which is the best showing for King's since joining the HVIAC.

Led by sophomore Micah Paulec's 26th place finish with a 33:41, the team persevered throughout the persistent cold rain on the 8K course. Sophomore Josiah Simons came across the finish line next with a 35:45 to finish 33rd. Freshman Elijah Carlson was right behind him in 37th place with a 36:22. Freshman Jan Gerber came in 41st place with a 37:17. Junior Nick Beckman followed that up with a 38:32 to grab the 44th place finish and freshman Ian Wilson was 46th with a 38:59.

With no seniors on the team the future seems bright for these harriers!
