Women's Volleyball Downed By Pioneers

Isabelle Sandmeyer had 11 kills, 3 aces, 9 digs and 14.5 points, but it was not enough as NJAC (New Jersey Athletic Conference) power William Paterson University defeated The King's College 3-0 (25-11, 25-8, 25-21) in Wayne, New Jersey.

The young Lady Lions team put up a valiant fight with freshman Samantha Klozik posting 6 kills and 23 digs. Sophomore Hope Feller recorded 13 assists and 3 digs with freshman Renae Maganza chipping in with 5 assists and 2 digs. Senior Savannah White had a kill while freshman Leah Thomas added a kill, an assist and a dig. freshman Sasha Conner had 2 kills and fellow freshman Kyra Kleinsmith an ace and 13 digs.

The loss evened King's record at 2-2 with three matches coming up this weekend.

The Lady Lions will take on Cooper Union Friday night at Baruch Junior High School in New York City at 7:00PM in a non-conference contest.
