On January 29th, the Lions took on Touro College, coming close to picking up the win. Trailing by eight points at halftime, the Lions would make a tremendous effort to close that gap in the second half, but came up short in the end, dropping the game 63-49.
Freshman Jordan Bishop scored 20 points, took down 7 rebounds, and had 2 steals for the Lions. Sophomore Ty Hutchins had his best performance of the season, scoring 9 points. Freshman Ben Oldham snatched the most rebounds with a total of eight, assisted 3 baskets, while also putting up 8 points.
Junior Mike Forcella took down 7 rebounds and added 4 points for the Lions. Senior Luke Borchelt took down 4 rebounds and scored 6 points. Freshman Zachary Moeller scored 2 points and had 1 steal.
