Knowles Pumps in 37 Points to Pound Pratt
In their first game back since the break, The King's College Men's Basketball team went out to Brooklyn last night to play Pratt Institute. The Lions were down by 20 points in the second half, but the team stayed calm, and kept working hard. Slowly and steadily they started chipping away at the 20 point deficit. King's eventually took the lead 62-59 and with just 16 seconds to play Pratt came down in one last effort to tie the game. King's played tenacious defense and Pratt launched a final desperate shot which clanged off the rim, and when a Lion's player grabbed the rebound, the final buzzer sounded as King's clinched the 62-59 victory.

Senior captain James Brooks had his best game of the season with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Fellow senior captain, Caleb Trouwburst, put on a defensive display and had 8 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal. Junior transfer Carter Fletcher grabbed 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in his first collegiate game. But perhaps most impressive was the astronomical 37 points scored by Trivette Knowles, he also added 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocked shots in a dominating performance.

The win improved The King's College HVIAC Conference record to 1-2 and they are 2-7 overall.
