Cross Country Caps Off Season at Nationals

The King's College Cross Country Team sent two men and two women down to Virginia Beach over the Veteran's Day holiday to compete in the United States College Athletics Association (USCAA) National Championships. The meet was the culmination of a fine season for TKC runners who continually saw their times decrease at almost every meet.

Freshman Kaitlin O'Dell ran a 31:11 and finished 118th in the field of 159 runners while sophomore teammate Rachel Sheldon clocked in at 33:33 for 137th place. The women's race was a challenging 6K course.

On the men's side senior Charles O'Brien came across the line in 34:36 which was good for 132nd place in the field of 172 athletes. Freshman Micah Paulec put up a 37:15 which was 149th overall in the men's 8K race.
