Women's Volleyball Falls to Pratt

The King's College Women's Volleyball team entered their Tuesday night match with the Pratt Institute Cannoneers on a 3-match winning streak all by 3-0 scores. But Pratt jumped out to a quick start taking the first set 25-11. 

The Lady Lions battled back in the second set and held a 20-18 advantage before Pratt came back to win 25-23. King's was competitive in the third set but came up short at 25-20. 

Freshman HaileyPaige Gilroy notched 4 digs in the match while Abby Roth had 3 digs and 16 assists. Rachel Guerra added 2 kills. Alex Kemsley had 4 kills and 2 service aces, and Samantha Klozik chipped in with 7 kills, 7 digs, and 2 service aces. Bella Rush had 7 kills to go with 12 digs and Ruby Anastacio pitched in with 6 digs.

The Lady Lions will travel to Morristown, New Jersey on Saturday, September 25 to take on Saint Elizabeth University, they return home Sunday to take on Bay Path at 12:45pm at the St. Joseph's College Hill Center in Brooklyn.
