Lady Lions Volleyball Win 6th Straight Match

The Lady Lions Women's Volleyball team won their sixth straight match today and improved their record to 10-6 for the season. They have won by a combined score of 18-0 in those matches. Today's 3-0 win over the Five Towns College Sound saw a contribution from just about everyone in the line up. Renae Maganza had 5 assists, 4 service aces and 6 digs. Fellow sophomore 2 kills, 2 service aces and 6 digs.

Six TKC freshmen made their presence known led by Callie Donaghue who had 12 kills. Alex Kemsley had 8 kills and 2 service aces. Abby Roth had a strong day with 21 assists along with 3 kills and 2 aces. Avery Johnson had 4 kills, 4 aces, 9 digs and a blocked shot. Olivia Tanski had 2 kills and Natalie Smith had a kill and 2 digs.

NEXT UP: The Lady Lions will head to upstate NY next Saturday to take on Word of Life in their last regular season contest as they prepare to take on Five Towns College in the HVIAC conference championship game the following weekend.
