Lady Lions Slay the Cyclones to Improve to 6-6

Freshman Avery Johnson had 11 kills, 21 digs and 16.5 points to lead the Lady Lions to a 3-0 victory over the Centenary University Cyclones. King's has won four of their last five matches all by 3-0 scores to even their record for the season at 6-6.

Sophomore Renae Maganza had 27 assists and 4 digs. Many of those assists were to freshman Alex Kemsley who had 16 kills, 3 service aces and 19.5 points. Freshman Abby Roth chipped in with 2 kills, 2 assists, 2 service aces, 14 digs and 4 points. freshman Callie Donaghue also had a strong all around match with 5 kills, 12 digs and 5 points. Rounding out the stats sheet freshman had 2 points with 2 kills and freshman Natalie Smith had 8 digs and 3 service aces for her 3 points.

NEXT UP: TKC will travel to Long Island to take on Five Towns College on October 9.
