Lady Lions Downed by the Ravens

The Lady Lions returned to The Hill Center for their third game of the season against the Ravens from Rosemont College. Coming close in each set, the Lady Lions were unable to defeat the Ravens in a 3-1 loss. 

Despite the loss, freshman Alex Kemsley showed up and showed out, downing 20 kills, picking up 20 digs, and serving 8 aces, totaling to 28 points for the Lady Lions. Kemsley put up the most kills and digs of either team. 

Sophomore Renae Maganza put up a career and season high of 34 assists, adding in 8 digs and 3 kills. 

Freshman Callie Donaghue followed Kemsley with 10 kills and freshman Natalie Smith notched 10 digs. Freshman Abby Roth added 5 aces and 6 kills. 

NEXT UP: The Lady Lions will be facing the Valley Forge Patriots and the Gryphons of Saint Lawrence College, in a tri-match scheduled for Sunday September 8th starting at 2:00pm.
