The Sarah Lawrence Gryphons defeated the Lady Lions 3-0 in volleyball action on Thursday night. The Gryphons came out strong with a 25-10 first set and never looked back as they outscored TKC 25-15 and 25-13 in the next two sets. Francesca Kohani led Sarah Lawrence with 13 kills for the night.
The young TKC squad continues to learn on the job. Freshman Annabelle Kopack had 7 digs while fellow freshman Savannah White contributed 7 digs and Marina Barham had 2 kills and 3 digs. Senior Grace Croley had 4 kills and 7 digs. Junior Dekka Hunley had 4 kills and 15 digs. Sophomore Taylor Wheeler had 9 assists.
