TKC Women's Volleyball Falls in Opener

The King's College Women's Volleyball Team took a trip out to Morristown, NJ on Tuesday night to take on The College of Saint Elizabeth. The Lady Lions lost in 3 sets (19-25, 15-25, 14-25) to start off the season 0-1 while CSE improved their season record to 3-2.

Although TKC had four freshmen on the court at any given time in the match, the team was competitive throughout. Senior Grace Croley led TKC in assists with four, junior Dekka Hunley had three kills and seven digs, and freshmen Savannah White added seven digs.

The game marked the collegiate coaching debut of Alexandra Rollis. Coach Rollis, a TKC alumna, is a former women's volleyball standout and three time All-Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. As a player she helped lead TKC to the HVIAC Conference playoffs in both her junior and senior year.

The Lady Lions will take on both Cooper Union and the Culinary Institute of America on Saturday September 17 at 2:00pm at Baruch JHS 104, 330 East 21st St in New York City.
