The King's College men's and women's soccer teams and women's volleyball team all traveled to face the University of Valley Forge Patriots on Saturday and came away with 2 wins from the trip.
The Lady Lions Volleyball team were up first and despite putting up a great fight they were defeated in 3 sets by the Patriots, 25-10, 25-16 and 25-15. Senior Isabelle Sandmeyer had a stand out performance with 6 kills.
The second event of the day saw the women's soccer teams face off against one another. King's won the game 3-0 thanks to two late goals including a sensational strike from freshman Jaclynn Kelly
The final match saw TKC men's soccer defeat Valley Forge 3-2. After taking a 2 goal lead, Valley Forge fought back to make it 2-2, but TKC sophomore Josiah Simons setteld the tie with his second goal of the game, fifth of the season and ninth of his King's career.
