Women's Soccer Picked Off by Pratt

On Sunday The King's College Women's Soccer Team played the Pratt Cannoneers in a non-conference game at Randall's Island. Pratt scored in the 13th, 32nd, 37th and 44th minute to jump out to a 4-0 lead as they outshot the Lady Lions 14-2 in the first half.

Pratt would add a final goal 11 minutes into the second half for what would be the 5-0 final. TKC was outshot 30-3 for the game as Lady Lions sophomores Madeline Tyler, Kathryn Brooks and Ann Marie Carlson all managed to get a shot off. Carlson and freshman Rebekah Lambdin split time in goal for TKC and combined for an impressive 18 saves.

TKC saw their record fall to 1-6 to start the season.

NEXT UP: The team will head out to Aviator Field in Brooklyn on Wednesday to take on Berkeley College in a Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game.
