After earning their first win of the season yesterday, on Sunday, November 18th, the Lady Lions fell 51-30, to the Panthers from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS).

The Lions were off to a slow start, down by six points, four minutes into the first quarter. The Lions kept pushing and were able to come back from this deficit, ending the first quarter tied to the Panthers, 12-12.

The last three quarters were tough for the Lady Lions, who were only able to put up single digits, allowing the Panthers to take the lead. Unable to combat the Panther's offense, the Lady Lions would fall to ACPHS.

Sophomore Bailey Kaufman once again secured the most points for the Lady Lions, posting half of the points this game, with a total of 15. Kaufman was able to take the ball away from the Panthers with six steals. Her performance in all three games last week, earned her the title of Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Freshman Sydni Brown posted nine points and had the most rebounds, both offensively and defensively, with a total of 11. Sophomore Sha Sanders added four points for the Lady Lions and had three assists.

NEXT UP: The Lady Lions will be facing the Cannoneers from Pratt Institute, Thursday, November 29th, at St. Joseph's College-Brooklyn (6:15pm).
