Kaufman Leads the Lady Lions to a Win

On Saturday, November 17th, the Lady Lions faced Cooper Union in their second game of the week.

From the results they achieved last year, winning 80-20 against Cooper Union, the Lady Lions were fairly confident coming into this game and were able to secure the win once again, 60-30.

Sophomore Bailey Kaufman was the top scorer for this game, racking up a total of 30 points. Sophomore Sha Sanders put up 16 points and had five assists.

Kaufman not only played well offensively, but defensively as well, registering the most steals, with a total of nine. Senior Megan LeBlanc followed behind, making four steals for the Lady Lions and leading the charge with the most rebounds in the game, grabbing six offensive rebounds and 12 defensive rebounds.

Freshman Hannah Gillihan had two offensive rebounds and six defensive rebounds, for a total of eight rebounds.

NEXT UP: The Lady Lions have a short turnaround time with a game tomorrow, November 18th, against Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, at Baruch College (5:30pm).
