On Saturday April 20th, the Lions concluded their season at the Trinity College Invitational in Hartford, Connecticut.

Senior Jonathan Pressley continued to improve his time with every meet this season. Running the 100M, Pressley earned a time of 12.02 in the Prelims, securing his spot in the Final race. This was the fastest time Pressley has run in his two seasons as a Track and Field athlete. In the final race, Pressley ran the 100M in 12.17 earning him 5th place out of 9 athletes. Pressley will be graduating this Spring, but holds the record for the fastest 100M and 200M time for the TKC Track and Field program since the college moved to New York City.

Freshman Eli Hixon competed in the 200M and 400M races. Hixon is a versatile athlete, running both short distance as a Track and Field athlete and long distance as a Cross Country athlete. Hixon earned a time of 27.61 in the 200M and 1:02.11 in the 400M. Hixon was able to shave off 0.47 seconds off of his previous 400M time.

Freshman Lauren Pannell competed in the 200M and 400M races as well. Pannell had a phenomenal season as a Cross Country athlete and made the switch to short-distance races in Track and Field. Pannell earned a time of 35.71 in the 200M and 1:20.70 in the 400M. Pannell cut her time down by 0.07 seconds from her previous time.

Overall, we are very proud of all our athletes and the work they put in this season and we are looking forward to another great season next year!
