King's Men's Soccer Picks Up First Conference Win

The King's Men's Soccer Team evened their Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) at 1-1 on Wednesday night with a 9-0 win over Webb Institute.

Led by freshman Pedro Gallaga who notched an amazing 3 goals and 3 assists the Lions defeated Webb Institute 9-0 at the Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn. Sophomore left back Andrew Knudsen scored his first collegiate hat trick and added an assist, while Josiah Simons, Craig Wishart and Seth Trouwborst scored a goal each. These were the first collegiate points for freshmen Gallaga and Trouwborst.

Simons also added an assist while freshmen Michel Wenzel and Jacob McDonald recorded their first collegiate points as each notched an assist. Sophomore Jackson Fordyce had an assist to round out the scoresheet for the Lions.

NEXT UP: King's will travel to Morristown, NJ on Saturday 9/16 for a non-conference match-up with the College of Saint Elizabeth at 3pm.
