On January 26th, the Lions took on the Blue Angels from the College of New Rochelle in a conference matchup. The CNR Blue Angels are the topped ranked team in the HVIAC conference, which made this a challenging game for the Lions.

The Lions had a slow start to the game, taking three minutes to put points up on the board. The Lions would have a better second half, but they were unable to recover, dropping this game 90-37, to the Blue Angels.

Freshman Jordan Bishop had a great night, playing well offensively and defensively. Bishop scored the most points for the Lions, with a total of 14, and snatched the most rebounds with a total of seven.

Senior Benjamin Borchelt followed behind, scoring nine points, taking down five rebounds, making three assists, and grabbing two steals from the Blue Angels. Freshman Ben Oldham also took down five rebounds and scored four points.

Sophomore Ty Hutchins added seven points, having the best shooting percentages for the Lions. Hutchins made 75% of the field goals he attempted and 100% of the three point shots he took. Senior Justin Cox put up three points and grabbed three steals.
