Lions Defeated by Five Towns College

On January 21st, the Lions kicked off the second half of their season, facing the Sound from Five Towns College. Unable to run a strong offense or defense, the Lions fell to the Sound 102-39.

As the only remaining senior, Luke Borchelt led the team both on the court, calling the plays and off the court, encouraging his teammates from the bench. Borchelt contributed the most points to help the Lions with a total of 17, and he took down seven defensive rebounds, to go along with three steals.

Making up half of the team this game, the freshman have continued to display their skills. Freshman Ben Oldham snatched the most rebounds for the Lions, with a total of eight, four offensive and four defensive. Freshman Jordan Bishop added nine points for the Lions and took down six rebounds. Freshman Zachary Moeller scored six points and took down two defensive rebounds. Freshman Ty Hutchins posted the most assists with a total of three and put up three points to help the Lions.
