First Loss for the Lions Against the Panthers

After a win the day before, on Sunday, November 18th, the Lions took on the Panthers from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and lost 78-68, in a conference matchup.

At halftime the Lions were down by five points, 34-29. Making a comeback in the second half, the Lions were able to catch the Panthers forcing the game into overtime at a score of 65-65. It wasn't until five additional minutes of overtime were played, did the Lions fall to the Panthers.

The Lions still had notable performances with senior Will Doerger putting up the most points of both teams. Doerger shot a total of 21 points, consisting of four three-point shots, four two-point shots, and one free throw being made.

Freshman Tyler Bowens added 17 points, coming in as the second highest scorer for the Lions, just four points behind Doerger. Bowens made 12 out of the 15 free throw attempts he was given, for a shot percentage of 80%. Freshman Jordan Bishop followed these two players with shots, registering 13 points while senior Luke Borchelt put up 12 points for the Lions.
