King's Athletes Claim End of Season Awards

Four King's soccer players made the HVIAC All-Conference team while Women's Head Coach David Foy was named Co-Coach of the year.

On the women's side, senior captain Kylie Locklar and freshman Jaclynn Kelly were named to the HVIAC All-Conference team. Locklar was a key figure at the heart of the Lady Lions' defense while Kelly was the team's top scorer.

Pedro Gallaga and Michel Wenzel were included on the HVIAC All-Conference men's soccer team, as Gallaga was the team's top scorer and Wenzel came up with 6 goals and 4 assists after missing the start of the season with an injury.

Dekka Hunley, senior captain of the Women's Volleyball team, also claimed a spot on the HVIAC All-Conference team for the second year in a row.

In men's cross country sophomore Micah Paulec completed an outstanding sophomore season and was named to the HVIAC All-Conference men's cross country team.

The Women's Soccer Coach of the Year award was shared as votes were tied between King's David Foy and SUNY ESF coach Dan Ramin. Foy picked up the award in his second season as head coach after leading the team to the HVIAC playoff semi-finals.
